Jonathan Wrenfield
Jonathan spent fifteen years advising on pensions and investments for private clients across the South West before founding Wrenfield. He leads comprehensive planning engagements and defined benefit transfer referrals.
Our story
Wrenfield Private Finance began as a High Cormier advisory room for people who wanted pension and investment guidance without a sales floor. We still work that way.
Too many UK financial conversations jump from a single product to a signature. We start with cashflow, existing pensions and the decisions already on a family’s calendar — then recommend only what the facts support.
Our mission is straightforward: deliver clear UK financial advice and consulting so clients can act with fewer unknowns, whether that means delaying a drawdown, adjusting ISA subscriptions, or speaking to a solicitor about gifts.

Amelia gathers fact-finds, builds first-pass cashflow models and prepares clients for discovery meetings. She is often the first voice you hear after an enquiry.
Engagements follow a fixed sequence: introductory call, discovery, analysis, recommendation meeting, and a scheduled check-in. We keep correspondence on email and written reports so nothing important lives only in a phone note.
We advise clients resident in Great Britain on UK-regulated arrangements. Overseas property or foreign pension schemes may require a specialist — we will say so early rather than stretch beyond our remit.
