Refunds and cancellations
Last updated: 4 August 2026
Scope
These terms apply to fees for Wrenfield Private Finance consultations and advice engagements booked with us. They do not cover investment product charges, platform fees or premiums paid to insurers, which are governed by those providers.
Eligibility for a refund
If you cancel a booked introductory call before it begins, no fee applies. For paid engagements, refund eligibility depends on how much work has started and when you cancel, as set out below.
Timeframe
Cancellation notices should be sent by email to hello@process-intel.digital. We confirm receipt within two working days. Refund requests for completed work already delivered as a written report are assessed under the partial refund and exceptions sections.
Full refunds
A full refund of fees paid is available if we cancel an engagement for reasons on our side (adviser illness without a suitable alternative date within a reasonable period, or discovery that the matter is outside our regulatory permissions) and no written recommendations have been delivered.
Partial refunds
If you cancel after discovery documents have been reviewed but before the recommendation meeting, we may refund the unused portion of a fixed fee after deducting time already spent at our published hourly equivalent (ordinarily £180 per hour of analysis already completed). The deduction will be itemised.
Non-refundable items
Fees for meetings that have already taken place, written reports already issued, and third-party trace or valuation costs ordered with your consent are non-refundable. Deposits on quote-based inheritance projects become non-refundable once analysis has started, except where we agree otherwise in writing.
Refund process and timing
Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within fourteen working days of approval. You will receive an email confirmation of the amount and reference.
Refund method
Refunds are made to the card or bank account that paid the invoice. We do not issue cash refunds or transfer fees to unrelated third parties.
Contact for refund requests
Email hello@process-intel.digital with your invoice number and reason. Postal correspondence may be sent to 37225 Bernadine Drive, High Cormier, England, United Kingdom. Telephone: +44-8-889-6184.
Cancellation and rescheduling
Discovery or recommendation meetings may be rescheduled once without charge if you give at least forty-eight hours’ notice. Later changes may incur a £75 administration fee. Repeated short-notice changes may lead us to pause the engagement.
Deposits
Where a deposit is required (typically for larger inheritance or multi-scheme planning), the amount and when it becomes non-refundable are stated in the engagement letter before payment.
No-shows
If you miss a scheduled meeting without notice, we may charge for the reserved time or deduct it from a fixed fee. A fresh appointment is offered subject to diary availability.
Work already started
Once cashflow modelling or portfolio analysis has begun, fees reflect work performed even if you decide not to proceed to implementation. You remain entitled to any work product already paid for and delivered.
Exceptions
Statutory cooling-off rights that apply to distance contracts for consumers will be honoured where they apply to our services. Nothing in this policy limits those rights. Complaints about advice quality follow our separate complaints procedure supplied in the engagement pack.
